We are glad you want to serve on Team for a L.O.G. Weekend.

We need your commitment just the same way as does a marching band or sports team!  With only a few Team meetings, we need everyone to be at every meeting and to stay for the entirety of each meeting.  

Jobs and homework are not valid reasons for missing a meeting – please arrange your time accordingly.  

Missing a L.O.G. Team meeting for sports or academic team competitions or performances may be acceptable if arranged in advance.  Practices and rehearsals are not acceptable reasons for missing a L.O.G. Team meeting.

Please explain this commitment to your parents and ask them to support you by not scheduling family events (birthday celebrations, meals and out-of-town trips) that will conflict with your Team meetings.

If you miss even one meeting, we may need to discuss whether or not being a part of the Team and the LOG weekend is appropriate for you.

We hope that you will also be faithful to attending worship and fellowship activities offered by the L.O.G. community and/or your home church.  We cannot require this, but do expect it. This is the way you can connect with folks that are not on the same Team with you and spend some time focused on growing in your relationship with God.
 
If you are concerned about making this commitment to Team, you may call to discuss the specifics of your situation with the Co-Leaders and Adult Advisors – we will try to work things out in a way that is acceptable to all concerned.

• Please check these dates with your family / school / sports / job schedules before choosing which Team on which you want to serve.  We require that you be committed to attending Team meetings.

• You may make a first and second choice – Team size will be limited – get signed up ASAP for the best chance of getting onto the Team of your choice.  You may not serve on both Teams.

L.O.G. #33 – November 21-23, 2008
    Team meetings:
        Sunday afternoons 2:00pm – 4:00pm
        The FireHouse at Clay Church
        Team overnight: Friday, November 7 – Saturday, November 8, 2008
        Team fee: $70.00 (discounted to $50 if paid in advance of the Team overnight 11/7/08)


L.O.G. #34 – December 5-7, 2008   
••••  The SATs are offered on Saturday, December 6th.  If you need to take the SATs, sign up to take them in October or November.  If you are a Table Leader, you may not leave at any time during the weekend – even for SATs.
    Team meetings:
        Thursday evenings 7:00pm – 9:00pm
