L.O.G. Retreats
WHAT IS L.O.G.?
L.O.G. (which stands for Love Of God) is a weekend retreat for high school students, in which you are encouraged to think seriously about your relationship with God, yourself and others.
It is an experience in intentional Christian community and love and a chance to learn about and reflect on the basics of the Christian Faith.
It is a very full weekend - full of talking & listening - singing & laughing - sharing & praying.
L.O.G. is a very special weekend - that can last a lifetime.
WHY ATTEND A L.O.G. WEEKEND?
L.O.G. is for you if you are interested in a weekend retreat full of fellowship and fun where love is not just spoken - but made real.
L.O.G. is for you if you would like an opportunity for honest sharing with people your own age about the most important things in life.
L.O.G. is for you if you are searching for - or open to - a way of knowing and feeling God’s loving and supportive presence in your life.
WHO ELSE WILL BE AT THE L.O.G. WEEKEND?
Each L.O.G. weekend is planned by a team of 15-25 high school students and adult advisors. During the weekend, most of the sharing and leading comes from the teenagers on “Team”.
There are usually 10-15 first-time participants at each L.O.G. weekend.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED WITH L.O.G.?
Get a registration form from one of the Team members – or check the events page for online registration. Due to limited space, priority is usually given to students in grades 10, 11 and 12.
The registration fee for a L.O.G. weekend is $80.00 – partial scholarships may be available.
(PLEASE NOTE – if you should need to drop out for any reason, your registration fee will not be refunded, but can be applied to a future L.O.G. weekend.)
